Inspired by Iron Maiden's tribute to Samuel Taylor Coleridge's epic poem "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner", this officially licensed Caribbean Dark Rum is a spirit as bold and complex as the legend itself.
Colour: Deep, dark brown with warm, reddish undertones.
Aroma: Complex and inviting – notes of muscovado sugar, dark chocolate, vanilla, and soft oak, accompanied by subtle hints of arrack and marzipan.
Taste: Refined and complex, with a subtle sweetness and clear oak characteristics. The aromas unfold layer by layer, revealing nuances of arrack, vanilla fudge, dried figs, muscovado sugar, and dark chocolate.
Finish: Long, warm, and complex. Lingering notes of dark chocolate and muscovado sugar combine with gentle oak spice and a hint of citrus zest. A slow, satisfying finish leaving a pleasant impression of dried fruit and subtle sweetness.
Best enjoyed neat at room temperature, as an elegant digestif or a relaxing "Avec".
